Our upvc door had jammed and needed attention. Stephen arrived on time and explained very well what the problem was and what needed to fix it. All sorted in less than an hour at a very reasonable price.

After our initial call Stephen arrived quickly and communicated well with us. The door barrel was faulty and was replaced quickly and without fuss. Had a problem with a conservatory door for a while. Had a replacement roof which resulted in the door finally becoming impossible to close properly. Thought that the door might need replacing. Superb service again! We last used Stephen around 8 years ago at the old house and he was the first number that I looked for when the front door was stuck. Following a break-in Stephen was with us within 90 minutes of being contacted. I know from past experience that the door furniture on our doors is an uncommon size but he had everything on his van that was required for the repair and replacement of other lock cylinders. Phoned Stephen and he came a couple of days later, took the lock out showed me it was broken then charged £160 for a new lock that took 30 minutes of his time! When the lock was out I had no choice but to have him fix it.

I contacted SF locksmiths having found them online. An hour and a half later the job I needed doing was done, to exactly the price mentioned in the initial phone call. My husband called Stephen and he arrived 2 hours later, sorted the lock and then proceeded to change the door handles upon my request without hesitation.
